About the event
Ready to discover the wild world of mushrooms? Join us in both spring and autumn for a unique foraging experience with Horváth Gergely, our certified local mushroom expert and chef. He’ll lead you through the forests and hills of Nógrád, just under the ruins of Szanda Castle, where you’ll dive into the world of mushrooms. As you explore, Gergely will share his in-depth knowledge, helping you identify what you find and teaching you how to spot the best picks of the day.
After your 2-3 hour hike, kick back and enjoy a multi-course dinner made by us from the day’s harvest. It’s the perfect chance to unwind, share stories with fellow foragers, and get inspired. In our open kitchen, Gergely will also show you how to bring the magic of foraged mushrooms into your own cooking.
This workshop is offered in both English and Hungarian, led by Gergely himself.
