How the community farm works and what your membership covers
Your membership fee covers one-fifth of the farm’s annual operating costs and allows Onno and Rozi to continue their innovative and activist work exploring what it means to be a small-scale, regenerative farmer today, or as they call it, a contemporary peasant.
The farm does not operate on a simple “I buy, you deliver” logic. Your membership is not just a weekly food box – it is an opportunity to reconnect with the land, seasons, origin of your food, and the community of human and non-human beings that make it all possible.
We ask you to let go of traditional consumer thinking and view your box not merely as a transaction, but as connection. We share the gifts of our land and environment with you so you can eat healthy, seasonal food while supporting the people and beings who care for the land.
Fees and Delivery
Fees and Payment
Your weekly share: 48,000 HUF / week
Payment options:
1. Monthly automatic collection: 198,000 HUF / month (on the 15th of each month)
2. One-time payment: 1,584,000 HUF (no later than May 7)
A receipt will be issued for all payments.
Delivery and Contract Duration
Home delivery:
Every Thursday afternoon (between 14:00-18:00)
Membership period, contract duration
From May 7 to December 17. (These are the first and last delivery dates.)
Afterward, we will have a joint review period to discuss how we would like to proceed.
Commitment
Since members support the farm throughout the season, we count on your commitment until December. Once the contract is signed, membership cannot be terminated early. Thank you for your understanding!
However, if necessary you are allowed to transfer your membership to someone else of your choosing.
Returnable container system
Please return used jars and containers in the box when we deliver to you so we can reuse them.
Delivery Location
We deliver to: Budapest, Szanda and sorroundings, Balassagyarmat, Vác, Dunakeszi, Gödöllő, Göd, Fót.
Please provide a safe place for the box and notify us if you will not be home during delivery.
